It is with much regret we announce the passing of “Omar” 6/4/09 at the age of 13years and 3 months
It seems unbelievable that it all began on General Specials Day at the 1996 Sydney Royal Easter Show. When Jean fell in love with Sandy Foote’s Schnauzer “Khan”, and a show career that ended on General Specials Day at the 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show. About 2 weeks after the 1996 Royal we collected “Omar” from Aeropelican after his flight from Adelaide. An incredible journey had begun how incredible it would turn out to be we had no idea. It has been a privilege to have been given the opportunity to have this great dog. “Omar’ has a record most would love to have, gained his championship at 10 months & 22 days he then went on to gain his Grand Championship at 4 years 3 months and 24 days. At the time he was the youngest Schnauzer in Australia to gain his Grand Champion status and possibly still is. In between times he attained his CDX obedience title. We believe he is the only Schnauzer in Australia to have both a Grand Championship and CDX obedience title.
His record in Royal Shows is pretty good.
